Jeremy's Priorities
Education
Jeremy believes in preparing students not just to graduate — but to succeed in life. That means focusing on the fundamentals while teaching practical, everyday skills:
Strengthen core academics and support students who are falling behind
Offer life-skills courses like budgeting, credit, and personal finance
Ensure high schools prepare students for both college and the workforce
“We need to focus on helping kids who are failing instead of just passing them along. Let’s give them the tools they need to thrive after graduation.”
Safety
Every child deserves to feel safe at school – physically, emotionally, and online. Jeremy will advocate for open discussions and proactive plans addressing:
Bullying prevention, both in person and on social media
Mental health support and intervention strategies
School safety measures and partnerships with local law enforcement
Root-cause prevention of school violence
“We can’t ignore the hard topics. Protecting our students means asking the right questions and taking real action.”

Transparency
Parents deserve to be informed and involved in their child’s education. Jeremy will work to ensure:
Clear communication between schools and parents
Transparency about student progress and well-being
Accountability in district decision-making and spending
“The school system must be transparent, especially when students are struggling academically, mentally, or physically.
