About Jeremy Waters
Jeremy Waters is a lifelong Greeley resident who believes strong schools build strong communities. A graduate of local public schools and Aims Community College, he knows firsthand how education shapes lives and opportunities.
Jeremy’s career has spanned construction, media, and military service. He worked his way up from apprentice to foreman in the sheet-metal trade, learning leadership and accountability through hard work. After 9/11, he enlisted in the Colorado Army National Guard, where he continues to serve as a Platoon Sergeant in Field Artillery. His deployments include Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the COVID-19 Task Force, experiences that deepened his belief in teamwork, responsibility, and perseverance—values he believes belong in every classroom.
Outside of his service, Jeremy spent a decade as a freelance sports cameraman, filming for the Colorado Eagles and Altitude Sports. A man of faith since 1995, he draws daily inspiration from Scripture and strives to lead with humility and compassion.
Jeremy is running for the Greeley-Evans District 6 School Board to give back to the community that raised him—working to strengthen student safety, transparency, and real-world learning for every child in Greeley and Evans.
